Jimmy was born in El Paso, into a large family of six brothers and six sisters. His father was both a farmer and a Department of Defense employee. Jimmy studied Horticulture at Texas Tech University and later married his high school sweetheart, Marie-Claire. Together, they have four adult children and four grandchildren—two in San Antonio and two in Austin.
In 1984, Jimmy relocated to San Antonio, where he has been an active member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church ever since. With decades of experience in the insurance industry, he has earned multiple professional designations, including CLU, LUTCF, and FIC. He is also an engaged member of the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counselors and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
Beyond his professional life, Jimmy enjoys gardening, soccer officiating, and assessing. However, his greatest joy comes from spending time with his family.
